family

I have a big crazy Italian family with lots of people. during holidays we get together and have a great deal of fun. its always an interesting time when everyone is in the same house, theres always lots to do. everyone is always laughing and enjoying themselves  after dinner we usually play games like pie in the face of something funny. our big family is very tight nit.

today i read about the best time of the year, fall. a recipe for greatness (fall themed grilled cheese)                    instantly caught my eye. i love both fall and food so the incorporation of both was perfect for me. the recipe called for honey wheat toast and Colby jack cheese  with deli style pickles. i think that i might try it out today.                                       

I love hunting with a passion

Hunting is my favorite thing to do. the process of harvesting a deer ethically is a moving time. although for most avid hunters, killing is not the reason. The events leading up to the kill are more important than the reward itself. Sitting in the woods from sun up and sundown is a powerful experience. Hunting is not simply sitting in the woods waiting for Bambi to pass by and shoot him. Instead there is a lot of work that goes into the hunt of a mature animal. the tracking of migration patterns of heard of doe early in the spring is important. by the beginning of the summer, does and buck stay in heard together, as males developed there antlers. once the "Rut" happens, males separate themselves in search for females. this is a big factor in the tracking aspect of hunting.

My future goals;

As a Reserved person, i view myself as analytical. Through the last five years of my life i have seen a lot and said much less. from what I have observed, I believe that money is not a necessity in live. being wealthy means having power, and more often than not people with power have benefited personally from that power. my goal in life is to separate myself  from this social norm of being power hungry. instead, i strive to be a leader rather than a controller. the difference between a leader and a controller is where you apply your influence and power. a leader will take both their influence and power to assist whomever he or she is leading and will guide them to the overall goal. where as a controller will have people do work for them, rather than being in the trenches with their constituents. my overall goal is to use any power given appropriately.

my BIGGEST issue with this planet

In this world i have struggle to comprehend why people are failing to take care of our mother planet earth. The destruction of nature deeply saddens me. As a person who lives very close and who's life style is heavily involved in nature it makes me sick to see litter on the sides of the road, bottles floating down the creeks and river and pollution killing the animals in the ponds. in the Susqahana river, the fish I catch are unnaturally discolored and pale. its very upsettin to see the way he world treats its home.

How fairy tails have impacted me

The fairy tail Goldilocks and the three bears has given me an important outlook on life although it might not be what you expect. Goldilocks has taught me to never settle for anything less than whats perfect  for me. If I want something i'm not going to settle for something that is not exactly what I want. I hold the highest standards for myself and never settle for anything less than I deserve.

Hi my name is Greg,  I go to Wilkes university and play lacrosse for the team here. i enjoy working on my 1999 jeep Cherokee and going off road with it. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends on campus. in my free time I often go to the gym and exercise. I have not had much time to think about what content I want to put on this blog but I'm sure eventually I will think of something. originally i treated this as just an assignment but I am going to be a bit more serious about it. My passions include anything in nature like hiking and fishing. I love to travel but have not been anywhere far in a long time. My dream is to run a travel blog and earn a living that way
